Sam Gray is a professional in transport planning and strategic innovation with extensive experience in the civil engineering sector. Currently, Sam serves in the Strategic Innovation sector of Transurban, having joined the enterprise strategy team to explore innovative opportunities since April 2016. Previously, Sam has held key roles at Arup and AECOM, leading numerous high-profile projects, including various stages of the WestConnex initiative, and has contributed to traffic modeling and business case development for significant transport infrastructure projects. Sam's early career included tutoring at the University of New South Wales and roles at Parsons Brinckerhoff and WorleyParsons during undergraduate studies. Sam holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from UNSW.
