Amar El Ouazani Tuhami's work experience includes the following:
- Research Development Software Engineer at Transvalor (2021-present): Developed an API for the Z-set material library and implemented a plug-in mechanism in the Forge software, expanding the capabilities of Transvalor's end-to-end multi-physics simulations. Also created a similar API for the Morfeo solver, increasing license sales to Morfeo and Forge users.
- R&D engineer - PhD thesis preparation at ARMINES (2018-2021): Developed and implemented a robust C++ tool to simulate ductile failure in the Z-set software, resulting in a faster module for ductile fracture.
- R&D engineer - MS DMS Mines ParisTech at Safran (2017-2018): Extended the concept of the error estimator ZZ2 to heterogeneous solids and implemented a multithreaded version of the estimator in the Z-set software. Integrated the error estimator into the remeshing strategy, enabling parallel remeshing operations for adaptive simulations.
- R&D engineering intern at ULIS (2017): Internship experience.
- Engineer intern at polydesign (Automobile) (2015): Internship experience.
Amar EL OUAZANI TUHAMI completed their education in a chronological sequence. Amar received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering from Mines Paris during the period of 2018 to 2022. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2018, they pursued a Mastère spécialisé in DESIGN des MATÉRIAUX et des STRUCTURES at Mines Paris.
In 2016, Amar earned a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Aeronautics with a focus on eco-design from Ecole centrale de Lyon. Additionally, during the same year, they obtained a Master 2 (M2) degree in Innovative Materials for Health, Technology, and Energy from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1.
To begin with, from 2012 to 2017, they pursued their Diplôme d'ingénieur d'état de ENSAM-Meknès (a state engineer diploma) in Material Mechanics from École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers (ENSAM-Meknès).
