Kumar Chandra Nair

Kumar Nair is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the financial services sector. As the Founder of Oroboro since 2018, Kumar Nair has focused on creating a digital platform aimed at enhancing financial inclusion through a combination of digital services and physical infrastructure across India. In addition to this venture, Kumar Nair has served as Managing Director at Transwarranty Finance Limited, a registered Non-Banking Finance Company that facilitates personal and consumer loans for underserved borrowers. Notable past positions include Chairperson at Vertex Securities Ltd, Non-Executive Director at both Menon Bearings Ltd and Marksans Pharma Ltd, and a Founding Member of Kotak Mahindra Bank. Kumar Nair holds a finance and accounting designation from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has completed the OPM Program in Management at Harvard University, alongside a degree in Science from the University of Calicut.
