Aamir Bashir

Aamir Bashir has a diverse work experience in the field of network architecture and engineering. Aamir has worked as a Director of Network Architecture at TWN Communications since January 2021, and prior to that, they served as a Senior Network Architect at the same company from June 2020 to January 2021.

Before joining TWN Communications, Aamir worked at Verizon as a Network Engineer from January 2019 to June 2020. In this role, they were responsible for providing engineering services for large Enterprise Managed Services customers, including designing and implementing network solutions across various platforms and technologies.

Prior to Verizon, Aamir was employed at Tilgent Pay as a Senior System Engineer from October 2017 to January 2019. Here, they were responsible for designing and installing datacenter systems and SDWAN solutions.

Aamir's earlier experience includes working at Huawei as a Network Product & Solution Manager from June 2011 to June 2017. Aamir was responsible for pre-sale support, business development, and customer relationship management. Aamir also worked as a Network Operations Center Engineer at Huawei from April 2010 to May 2011, where they managed the installation and operations of the IP/MPLS network.

Before joining Huawei, Aamir worked at Wateen Telecom as a Technical Support Engineer from April 2007 to March 2010. Aamir'sresponsibilities included deploying MPLS-based VPN connectivity and working with various routing protocols.

Aamir started their career at TCN as a Technical Team Lead from December 2003 to January 2006. In this role, they implemented the IT department and performed research and configuration of VoIP devices.

Aamir Bashir completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of the Punjab (PU), Lahore, in the years 1999 to 2002. Following that, from 1999 to 2003, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (Hons.) from the University of Central Punjab (UCP-PICS) in Lahore. Finally, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Telecom, specializing in Telecommunication, from the Government College University (GCU), Lahore, between 2004 and 2006.
