Bridge Project Engineer at TranSystems

Brian Janus, P.E. has diverse work experience in the engineering field. Brian began their career at Mau & Associates, LLP as a CAD Technician Intern in 2012. In 2013, they joined the Wisconsin Department of Transportation as a SET Intern and continued in the role until 2014. In 2015, they worked as a SET Co-op at the same organization. Brian then joined F.H. Paschen as a Project Engineer in 2016, where they worked until 2017. Since 2017, they have been employed at TranSystems, starting as a Highway Engineer I and later progressing to the position of Structural Engineer I. Brian is currently working as a Bridge Project Engineer at TranSystems.

Brian Janus, P.E. earned a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering from 2011 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended Green Bay Preble High School from 2007 to 2011, with a focus on engineering. In terms of additional certifications, Brian obtained a Professional Engineer (PE) license from the IDFPR in July 2019, and in October 2021, they achieved the Rope Access Technician - Level I certification from the Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT).
