Drew Olbrich

Drew Olbrich is currently an engineering at TRASH. Drew has been in this position since July 2019. Prior to that, they were the lead engineer at TRASH from July 2019 to November 2020.

Drew has also worked as a senior software engineer at Yahoo from September 2015 to July 2019. There, they worked closely on a small team of engineers and designers to quickly build, ship, and iterate five iOS apps exploring various social networking and video streaming concepts. Drew also co-developed Yahoo Finance for Apple TV.

From October 2014 to August 2015, they were a senior software engineer at Polyvore. There, they supported and continued development of the Polyvore iOS fashion/shopping app. Polyvore was acquired by Yahoo in 2015.

From March 2011 to February 2013, they were an engineer at Tasty Labs, Inc. There, they did front-end development and UX design of various experimental website ideas at a social networking startup.

Drew has also been an independent mobile developer at VSCO from February 2013 to December 2016.

Lastly, they were a member of technical staff at OnLive from March 2007 to February 2011.

Drew Olbrich has a BS in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.

They are on a team with Geneviève Patterson - Co-Founder & CSTO, Kat To - Operations, and Chihyu Chang - Engineering. Drew Olbrich reports to Hannah Donovan, Founder & CEO.
