Volker Hillmann

Volker Hillmann has a diverse and extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Volker is currently serving as the Senior Director Scania Sales China at Scania Group since 2022. Prior to this, they were the Vice President Strategy at TRATON GROUP from 2021. From 2016 to 2021, they held multiple positions at Daimler Trucks Asia, including President & CEO of PABCO Co. and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of PABCO Co.

Before that, Hillmann worked at E.ON as the VP - Head of T&I Incubator from 2015 to 2016, and at ENEVA as General Manager - Strategy, Long Term Planning, and Technology & Innovation from 2013 to 2014. Volker started their career at E.ON SE, where they served as the VP - Executive Management Assistant to the CEO from 2010 to 2013 and as a Manager in Trading & Optimization and Corporate Development from 2006 to 2010.

Hillmann also gained experience at Daimler AG as a Manager in Business Development Trucks from 2004 to 2006 and at Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation as an Expert from 2003 to 2004. Volker began their professional journey as a Management Trainee (IMAP) at Daimler AG from 2001 to 2003.

Volker Hillmann holds an MBA degree from ESMT Berlin, which they obtained between 2008 and 2010. In 2008, they also attended London Business School for a course in Corporate Finance. Prior to that, they completed their Dipl-Ing (MEng) degree in Power & Process Engineering at Technische Universität Berlin from 1994 to 2001. Additionally, Volker pursued a Master of Science degree in Project Management at Northumbria University, and studied Comparative Culture/Business at Sophia University, although the specific years are not provided.
