I was born and brought up in a small village town of Southeast Pakistan. English had always been my great passion. Since childhood i used to listen to BBC Radio to learn English and by the age of 15 years I started to learn the words and sentences from the BBC English Service soon I was patronized as only person who can speak English in the school and was quite happy about it.
I was heading for becoming a medical doctor but I was dropped due to 2 marks in my 12h standard. I continued the studies and kept studying English however I still wanted to become a Doctor I joined the college for my BSc (Biology) and visited Karachi, the biggest city of Pakistan, a few times. I used to go to American Culture Center and Goethe Institute to practice English and at Goethe Institute I noticed a small piece of Note on the notice board “If you love your country join us and show your country to other”
I called the person advertising and found that It was a company that organizes tours for foreigners in Pakistan I was thrilled and went to see the office and had a pleasure of meeting Mr. I.R. Kazmi their manager. He was impressed with my English and my Sindhi and village background but it was rough to join a job in Karachi while I was studying in village town hence I requested that I may be called if it was a requirement as a freelance guide.
In 1989 when my studies were nearly over I joined as a Guide and in few years time was promoted as manager but I continued Guiding 1n 1997 I decided to part with the company to struggle more and formed a small company by the name of Travel & Culture which I still manage and still Guide tours.
I was married in 1996 and have 3 Children Jannat (Girl 12 years), Momin (Boy) 10 years and Ahmed 2 years.
