Kirsi Hyvaerinen is an experienced tourism professional with a robust background in sustainable tourism and management. Currently serving as a Mentor for the Best Tourism Villages Upgrade Programme at the World Tourism Organization, Kirsi also co-founded Balkan Green, focusing on enhancing sustainable tourism practices in the Balkans. As the Founder and CEO of HYVÄ Coaching & Consulting d.o.o., along with roles as a Board Member of the Global Ecotourism Network and a Representative for Green Destinations in Montenegro, Kirsi emphasizes sustainable development and community engagement. Additionally, Kirsi contributes to the field as a Project Manager at VDR Business Travel Report Germany, an Educator for the Adventure Travel Trade Association, the Co-Founder of Travel Massive Montenegro, and an Independent Consultant in travel and tourism. Kirsi also imparts knowledge as a Guest Lecturer at Hochschule Heilbronn, specializing in Sustainable Tourism Management and Contemporary Issues in International Tourism. Kirsi holds a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Tourism Management and Marketing from Hochschule Heilbronn.
