Karen Martwick

Karen Martwick has extensive experience in content strategy and communications. Karen is currently serving as the Senior Director of Content Strategy at Travel Portland, where they identify business gaps, proposes solutions, and works cross-functionally. Previously, they were the Director of Content Strategy at Travel Portland, leading and implementing content strategy to promote the city as a preferred travel destination. Before joining Travel Portland, Karen worked at the National Psoriasis Foundation as a Communications Manager and Web Content Manager/Writer. Additionally, they have experience as a Producer at OregonLive.com, where they managed projects, wrote, edited, and produced content for the website.

Karen Martwick attended Portland State University from 1994 to 1997, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
