Oleg Koval

Oleg Koval has been working in the software engineering field since 2014. Oleg was the Founder of EPSCAPE, where they were the main developer of a media project with 150,000 MAU and occasional peaks of up to 2 million. Oleg was responsible for frontend and backend development, infrastructure, managing a team of editors, writing texts, and running social media. In 2017, they began working as a Full Stack Engineer for Condé Nast Russia. In 2020, they became the Lead Backend Engineer for Hearst Shkulev Media, where they were responsible for team coordination, architecture design, microservices development, developer recruitment, and running the largest portal for women in Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus with 20 million MAU. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer for Travelata.

Oleg Koval completed their Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Informatics from the Russian Technological University (MIREA) in 2016. Afterwards, they continued their studies at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in Information Systems and Technologies in 2018.
