Jim Thanos

Jim Thanos, FCAS has over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. Jim has held various roles throughout their career, starting in 2005 at Fireman's Fund Insurance Company as an Assistant Actuarial Analyst, Commercial Pricing. Jim then moved on to become a Statistical Analyst Research Associate. In 2008, they joined Aviva as a Senior Actuarial Analyst, working in both Economic Capital and Actuarial Pricing. In 2014, they joined Northbridge Insurance as a Senior Actuarial Analyst, Research and Development before moving to Travelers Canada in 2015 as a Sr. Director, Research and Development. Jim'sexpertise lies in research and development, economic capital, actuarial pricing, and commercial pricing.

Jim Thanos, FCAS, holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto. Jim also has additional certifications in Python for Data Science from Coursera. Furthermore, Jim is a Fellow in the Casualty Actuarial Society, showing their expertise and dedication in the field.
