Carlos Armas Reyes

Carlos Armas Reyes has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several years. Carlos is currently working as a Principal Product Manager at TravelPerk since June 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Product Manager at the same company from July 2019 to May 2020.

Before joining TravelPerk, Carlos worked at King as a Product Director for Game Operations from March 2018 to July 2019. Carlos also served as a Senior Product Manager at King from April 2014 to March 2018, where they were responsible for leading product teams and defining strategies for various platform projects, including in-game messaging, game operations, and identity authentication.

Carlos's earlier work experience includes serving as a Senior Team Lead at Puck Solutions from August 2010 to March 2014. Here, they managed a team of developers and contributed to the release of a cloud-based private business aviation software. Prior to that, they worked as an Online Marketing Business Unit Manager at Sowre Consulting from January 2010 to August 2010, where they managed a multidisciplinary team and delivered projects in sectors such as banking, finance, and local government.

Further back in their career, Carlos worked as a Web Designer, Front-end Developer, and Junior Usability Expert at Sowre Consulting from February 2009 to January 2010. Carlos also gained experience as a Web Developer and Graphic Designer at AzulFlojo Servicios Graficos in 2007 and as a Web Design and Multimedia Teacher at AFS Formación from April 2006 to September 2007.

In addition, Carlos worked as a Freelance Graphic Web Designer under their own company, Carlos Armas, from June 2005 to July 2007. Carlos also served as a Junior Innovation Consultant at Fundación Universitaria de Las Palmas from March 2007 to June 2007 and interned as a Junior Industrial Designer at DESIGN CONCERN from September 2005 to March 2006.

Carlos Armas Reyes obtained a Master's degree in Digital Media Design from Elisava in 2010. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies in Industrial Design Engineering at Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, Carlos has obtained several certifications, including Reviews & Metrics for Software Improvements, Agile Planning for Software Products, Client Needs and Software Requirements, Software Processes and Agile Practices, Introduction to Software Product Management, Project Management in Practice, and Pragmatic Marketing Certified - Level II.
