Maxim Likhachev

Maxim Likhachev has worked for a number of companies since 2007. Maxim started their career as a Research Faculty at the University of Pennsylvania in 2007. In 2010, they became an Associate Professor at Carnegie Mellon University. In 2014, they founded ROBOTWITS LLC and also became Co-Founder of TravelWits. In 2021, they joined Waymo as a Senior Staff Software Engineer.

Maxim Likhachev received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University in 2005, after studying at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1999 to 2001.
