Kristine Parra

Kristine Parra's work experience includes a role as a Laboratory Manager at Travertine starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Staff Scientist at Washington Clean Energy Testbeds from July 2017 to July 2022. Kristine also worked as a Research and Development Chemist at Brooks Rand Instruments from February 2015 to June 2017, where they were responsible for testing and validating novel trace metals analysis instrumentation and designing chemical processes for trace mercury collection and detection. Before that, they served as a Research Engineer at Caelux Corporation from March 2012 to June 2014. Kristine also had various roles at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, including Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from January 2011 to March 2012, and from August 2009 to March 2012, respectively. Kristine started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Stanford University from June 2008 to June 2009. Kristine also had a short-term internship as a Formulations Intern at Exelixis in June 2007.

Kristine Parra completed their Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University from 2005 to 2009. Kristine further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2009 to 2012.
