Alain Boucar

Alain Boucar is an experienced professional in identity and border management, currently serving as Vice President of Identity and Border Management at Travizory Border Security SA since December 2019. Boucar has also been the founder and expert at Boucar Consulting since January 2000, advising various governmental organizations and international bodies such as the World Customs Organization, International Civil Aviation Organization, International Organization for Migration, and the World Bank on security document production and procedures. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Superintendent and Head of the Central Office for Combating Forgeries at the Federal Police from January 1991 to September 2013, where Boucar was instrumental in advising on visa technical matters for the European Commission and leading Belgian delegations in European Union working groups. Boucar held the presidential position in the Forged Documents Working Group during two separate terms under the Belgian presidency of the European Union, showcasing a strong commitment to combating forgery on an international scale.
