Luan Barbosa

Luan Barbosa's work experience includes various roles in the field of civil engineering. Luan started their career as a Construction Technician for a private service for a civil engineer in 2017. In 2018, they worked as a Mathematics Tutor at Southwestern Illinois College. From 2019 to 2020, they held the roles of Clerical Assistant at Missouri LTAP and Student Assistant at Missouri University of Science and Technology. In 2019, they also served as an Athlete for the Saint Louis Lions Club. In 2020, Luan joined Traylor Bros., Inc. as a Civil Engineering Field Intern and later as a Co-op, gaining experience as an estimator engineer intern and field engineer intern on-site for the Mount Vernon Bridge replacement project. In 2021, they worked as a Civil Engineering Field Intern at Traylor Construction Group and as an Athlete for the Southern California Seahorses. Currently, they hold the position of a Civil Engineer at Traylor Bros., Inc. starting in 2022. Alongside their professional journey, Luan worked as a Vehicle Tracking Operator at Totalsat Tecnologia em Rastreamento de Veículos from 2016 to 2017.

Luan Barbosa pursued an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2019, they attended Southwestern Illinois College and obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Civil Engineering. Additionally, from 2013 to 2015, Luan Barbosa studied Construction Engineering Technology/Technician at SENAI/SC - Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Industrial, where they received a Construction Technician Certificate.

In addition to their formal education, Luan Barbosa has acquired several certifications. In September 2022, they obtained a certification in Construction Management Software from Procore Technologies. Luan also obtained an OSHA 30 certification from the US Department of Labor OSHA in August 2022. Furthermore, Luan Barbosa completed an 11v11 Grassroots Coaching Course from the U.S. Soccer Federation in June 2022. Prior to that, they obtained certifications in BNSF Contractor Safety Orientation from BNSF Railway in June 2021 and SCRRA Contractor's Safety Training from Metrolink in September 2020. Finally, Luan Barbosa completed the OSHA 10 Hours Construction Program from Red Vector in June 2020.
