Douglas L. Laslo

Douglas L. Laslo is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the utility and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Distribution Engineer at TRC Companies, Inc. since March 2018, Douglas is actively involved in the California High-Speed Rail project, focusing on the design and engineering required to relocate electric utility lines. Prior to this role, Douglas worked at Autodesk, Inc. from 1999 to 2018, starting as a Consulting Utility Industry Solutions Manager and later managing a team of Implementation Consultants. Douglas's early career includes a managerial position in Management Systems Support at FirstEnergy and mechanical/electrical maintenance in the Steel & Coal Industries. Douglas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Akron, earned between 1982 and 1987.
