Nicolas Richard

Nicolas Richard is a Senior Software Developer with extensive experience in building and optimizing data processing systems and real-time data pipelines. Currently at Treasure Data, Nicolas manages large-scale Presto and Hive/Hadoop clusters and has enhanced query simulation coverage. Previously at GoTo, Nicolas contributed to the Report & Analytics team focusing on real-time call data pipelines using Java and related technologies. At Genetec, Nicolas excelled in full-stack development and deployment of microservices, improving builds and integrating video solutions. Nicolas also gained valuable teaching and development experience during academic roles at Polytechnique Montréal and internships at Genetec, BroadSoft, and Desjardins. Nicolas holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal and a Diploma of College Studies in Computer Science and Mathematics from Cégep de Saint-Jérôme.
