Derk Hendriksen has over 25 years of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry. Derk'scareer began in 1993 as a Brand Manager at Reynolds American, Inc. After three years, they moved to Kimberly-Clark as a Brand Manager. In 1996, they joined The Coca-Cola Company as a Senior Brand Manager, and then moved to Group Brand Manager in 2000. In 2002, they were promoted to President of EKOCOMPANY Inc. and Vice President & General Manager of EKOCENTER. Derk was then promoted to Vice President of Business Integration & General Manager of EKOCENTER in the Office of Sustainability. After this, they were promoted to General Manager of EKOCENTER Social Enterprise, Senior Global Director of Sparkling Portfolio Strategy, Senior Global Brand Director, Global Brand Director, Coke Trademark & Marketing Capability Director, and Coke Trademark Director. In 2018, they founded and became the CEO of Hendriksen Ventures LLC. In 2019, they became a Strategic Advisor and Managing Director of Growth & Transformation Practice at Bluedog Design, LLC. In 2020, they became the Co-CEO of Treasure8, where they are responsible for business development, finance, culture, and leadership.

Derk Hendriksen has a Bachelor in Marketing from Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN) obtained between 1986 and 1989. Derk then went on to obtain an MBA in Business Economics from the University of Groningen between 1990 and 1993. In 2006, they completed the Coca-Cola Leadership for Growth GM Program at IMD. In 2016, they completed the Coca-Cola 'Contour' Leadership Experience at Harvard Business School. Additionally, in June 2018, they obtained the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines & Spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
