Monica Jaramillo

Monica Jaramillo has a diverse background in human resources and corporate social responsibility. Monica has held various leadership roles throughout their career, including serving as the VP of People US Operations and Global Lead for Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion at Treatt since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Gerdau from 2010 to 2022, where they held positions such as Head of HR North America, Human Resources and Corporate Social Responsibility Manager in Colombia, Regional Human Resources Manager in Brazil Northeast Region, and Human Resources Manager at the Usiba Mill in Bahia, Brazil. Monica also worked at Avon as a Human Resources Supervisor and at Ford Motor Company as a Human Resources Coordinator and Analyst. Their experience includes managing HR processes, union and labor relations, payroll, diversity and inclusion initiatives, leadership development, cultural transformation, and change management. Throughout their career, Monica has focused on engaging employees, attracting and retaining talent, and supporting organizational growth.

Monica Jaramillo attended the University of San Diego from 2018 to 2019, where they completed the Shakti Leadership Program and studied Conscious Leadership.

From 1994 to 2000, Monica Jaramillo attended Universidad EAFIT and earned a Bachelor's degree in International Business.

In 2008 to 2010, Monica Jaramillo pursued a Masters Degree in Jungian Psychology with a concentration in Art Therapy from Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública.

In 2019, Monica Jaramillo received training in the True Purpose® Coach Training program from True Purpose Institute.

In 2020, Monica Jaramillo obtained True Leadership Coach Certification from Tiara International, specializing in Coaching and Leadership.

In 2018, Monica Jaramillo completed the Designing for Change program at IDEO U.

During 2011 to 2012, Monica Jaramillo studied Transpersonal Therapy at Grupo Omega - Centro de Estudos Holísticos e Transpessoais.
