MacKenzie Brown

MacKenzie Brown currently serves as Vice President of Security at Blackpoint Cyber and leads HackFort for the LockPicking Lounge at Treefort Music Fest. Previous experience includes roles as Incident Manager on the Detection and Response Team at Microsoft, where responsibilities involved global incident response case management, and as Co-Chair for the Develop Idaho Conference through the Idaho Technology Council. MacKenzie held multiple positions at Optiv Inc, including Enterprise Incident Management and Incident Response Consultant, contributing to the development of enterprise security program frameworks. Earlier experience includes serving as an IT System Security Analyst and IT Support Technician for the Idaho Department of Labor. MacKenzie holds a degree in Cyber Operations and Resilience from Boise State University.
