Shoaib Zafar

Shoaib Zafar has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the manufacturing industry. Shoaib has worked at Treet Corp since 2020, where they currently serve as the COO of Treet Battery Ltd. In this role, they are responsible for all aspects of the business, including P&L management, business strategy, sales operations, product manufacturing, and people development. Prior to this, Shoaib worked as the GM of Operations at Treet Battery Ltd.

Before joining Treet Corp, Shoaib worked at Unilever for a significant period. Shoaib held several positions, including Works Director for Wall's Ice cream where they oversaw production efficiency, product quality, and supply chain operations. Shoaib also served as the Global Engineering Manager for Construction Safety, ensuring compliance with safety standards across multiple regions. Shoaib was also involved in various strategic engineering projects, such as the development of a new greenfield food site and the expansion of a savoury portfolio in Egypt.

During their time at Unilever, they also led the establishment of an engineering and project delivery organization in Pakistan as the Country Head of CapEx Projects. In this role, they were responsible for capital planning, project execution, and talent development. Shoaib also served as the Factory Manager for the Tea Beverages Business, implementing lean manufacturing practices and achieving operational improvements. Furthermore, Shoaib played a key role in promoting health, safety, and environmental initiatives at Unilever as the Country Head of HSE. Shoaib developed a national HSE network and hosted the first national HSE conference in Pakistan.

Shoaib Zafar has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, which they obtained from 2000 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed their F.S.C in Pre-Engineering from Government College University (GCU), Lahore, from 1997 to 1999. Shoaib also attended D.P.S Model Town Lahore for their High School education, specializing in Science, from 1986 to 1997. Additionally, Shoaib Zafar has obtained certifications as a CPIM in Basic Supply Chain Management and Master Planning of Resources from APICS, and as a Certified TPM Instructor from Japan's Institute of Plant Maintenance (JIPM).
