Engineering Director: Asia Engineering at Trek Bicycle

Chris Pomering has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Chris started their career at ATK as a Process Engineer from January 2003 to January 2005. In 2005, they joined Trek Bicycle Corporation and has been with the company since then. Chris held various roles at Trek, starting as an Engineering Manager in Asia. Over the years, they progressed to become the Engineering Director for Asia. Chris has also served as the US Engineering Manager for Mountain Bikes and Road and Speed frames, both in the US and Taiwan. Chris has been responsible for engineering new bicycle products and has worked on notable projects, including the 2010 Madone 6 series and 2010 Fisher Cronus. Chris has also served as the Chief Engineer for Road and Speed Bicycles, providing oversight to global product engineers. Chris currently holds the position of Engineering Director for Asia Engineering at Trek Bicycle Corporation.

Chris Pomering attended Colorado State University from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2007, they enrolled at Abaris Advanced Composites Training and completed coursework in Laminate Analysis, Joint Design, and Composite Structure Design. During the same year, they also obtained a Master's Certification in Project Management from the Wisconsin School of Business.
