Hans Eckholm

Hans Eckholm has a significant amount of work experience in the field of industrial design. Hans started as an Industrial Design Intern at Ethicon, Inc. in 1994. Hans then worked as an Application Engineer/Industrial Designer at Professional Control Corporation (PCC) from 1996 to 1998. Hans then joined Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications International AB as a Senior Industrial Designer from 1998 to 2004.

In 2004, they joined Trek Bicycle as a Studio Lead for Road Products and held this position until 2011. At Trek Bicycle, Hans also served as the Industrial Design Manager for Road Products from 2011 to 2020. Hans then transitioned to the role of Industrial Design Manager for Road Products, Electronics, and Wheelworks until 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Design at Trek Bicycle starting from February 2022.

Hans is also involved in the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, where they have been a Member of the Board of Trustees since September 2023.

Hans Eckholm pursued their higher education from 1990 to 1992 at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, however, no degree or field of study information is available for this period. Subsequently, from 1992 to 1995, Hans enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a specialization in Industrial Design.
