Josh Foster has a diverse work experience in engineering roles. Josh started their career as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Johnson Controls in 1998 and then moved to Herman Miller in 2001. At Herman Miller, they continued their role as a Mechanical Design Engineer. In 2001, they also joined Honda R&D Americas, Inc as a Mechanical Design Engineer. In 2008, they transitioned to Trek Bicycle as an Engineering Project Manager and gradually progressed to the roles of Engineering Manager (Electronics), Director of Bicycle and eSystems Innovation Engineering, and currently Director of Electronics and eSystems Engineering.
Josh Foster earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Innovation Engineering Black Belt from the Innovation Engineering Institute in August 2019. Josh also holds certifications in Lean Experience from the Lean Learning Center and Project Management from UW-Madison Continuing Studies, although the specific dates of acquisition are not provided.
