Austin Hauglid

Austin Hauglid has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Cloud Engineer at Trek10, Inc. starting in 2022. In this role, Austin was responsible for training and deploying a custom machine learning model, utilizing AWS Sagemaker, CloudFormation, Docker, and Elastic Container Services. Austin also assisted in the migration of production servers to Amazon Web Services using Kafka, Spark Streaming, and Redshift Data Sharing.

Prior to this, Austin worked as a Cloud Engineering Intern at Trek10, Inc. in 2021. During their internship, they developed a serverless bot to manage employee data stored in DynamoDB on Amazon Web Services. Austin ensured data integrity, security, and uniform formatting while utilizing CloudFormation, API Gateway, and Lambda functions.

In 2020, Austin worked as a Technician at the University of Oklahoma's Information Technology department. Austin played a crucial role in transitioning professors' classes to online platforms during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, Austin managed and maintained computer lab spaces at the University.

From 2016 to 2019, Austin worked as a Team Member at Your Pie, where they collaborated with the General Manager and Shift Managers to deliver excellent customer experiences. Austin focused on food preparation, construction, and service while maintaining cleanliness and following safe food handling practices.

Lastly, Austin also had a Mentorship role at Capital One from October 2016 to June 2017.

Austin Hauglid earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management Information Systems, General from the University of Oklahoma from 2017 to 2022. Austin also obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management of Information Technology from the same university from 2020 to 2022. Prior to attending the University of Oklahoma, Austin graduated from Wakeland High School in 2017. In addition to their formal education, Austin obtained the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2021.
