Rimsha Khan, SHRM-CP

Rimsha Khan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Rimsha currently works at Trella as the Lead - HR Business Partner for Saudi Arabia & Pakistan. In this role, they have successfully set up the HR function in Pakistan and supported the launch of operations in UAE/GCC. Rimsha has also taken on the additional responsibility of being a recruiter for hyper local positions.

Prior to their current role, Rimsha worked at Signify (formerly known as Philips Lighting) as an HR Generalist. Here, they collaborated with different Centers of Excellence (COEs) to support various HR functions and gain expertise in Business Partnering.

Before Signify, Rimsha worked at Philips Lighting, initially as an Admin and Payroll Specialist and later as an HR Officer. Rimsha also had a brief stint as a Project Intern at the company.

Rimsha gained experience as a Project Intern at Continental Biscuit Limited and also interned at Jazz (previously known as Mobilink) in the Commercial Division - Customer Care Department. During their internship at Jazz, they had several responsibilities such as customer interaction, conducting feedback surveys, and analyzing the telecom industry.

Rimsha's first professional experience was at Stage Nomad Productions, a theatre startup in Pakistan, where they worked as an Assistant Manager - Public Relations. Despite the demanding nature of the role, they found it enjoyable.

Overall, Rimsha Khan has a strong background in HR and has demonstrated their ability to take on challenging assignments and contribute effectively in various industries.

Rimsha Khan pursued their education starting in 2009 at The City School, where they completed their O'levels in Business/Commerce between 2009 and 2011. Rimsha then went on to pursue A'levels in Commerce at The City School from 2011 to 2013. After completing their A'levels, they attended the Institute of Business Administration from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Human Resources and Marketing.

In terms of additional certifications, Rimsha Khan obtained the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from the SHRM institution in July 2021.
