Dave Tomar

David Tomar is an experienced legal professional currently serving as General Counsel at Trellance since July 2021, providing strategic legal counsel in areas such as Commercial, Data Privacy, Information Security, Corporate Governance, and Financial operations. Prior to this role, Tomar was Associate General Counsel at CUNA Mutual Group (now TruStage) from March 2009 to July 2021, where David directed legal guidance for insurance and lending operations, significantly reducing outside counsel spending. Tomar's earlier experience includes positions at Hudson Cook, LLP, the Maryland Attorney General's Office, Saul Ewing LLP, Howrey Simon Arnold & White, and U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, showcasing a diverse background in litigation, compliance, and corporate law. Tomar holds a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a B.A. in Political Science from Tulane University.
