Nick Kovs

Nick Kovs is the current Process Excellence Manager at Trellis. Nick has over six years of experience in web design and programming and has worked with companies such as Shannon-Rose Design and Technology Therapy Group.

Kovs started their career as a Frontend Developer & Project Manager with Technology Therapy Group. Nick was responsible for building a theme framework that acted as a base for 10+ re-usable themes. Nick also took on the role of project managing the web team, creating statements of work, handling project deadlines, budgets, and day-to-day client communications.

In April 2016, Kovs joined Shannon-Rose Design as their Director of Web Design & Programming. In this role, they were largely multi-discipline, requiring him to be the project manager for all of their web clients, solution strategist for potential clients in the sales pipeline, manager of operations and processes, and also being the sole resource for delivering start-to-finish on small websites that used the WordPress theme Divi. At the end of their tenure, they worked on establishing and integrating agile methodologies into their workflow, resulting in more transparent communication and efficient use of resource time.

Kovs’ experience with web design and programming has led him to their current position as Process Excellence Manager at Trellis. In this role, they are responsible for leading process improvement initiatives across the company and developing best practices for Trellis’ software development lifecycle.
