Changwen Liu

Changwen Liu is a highly experienced engineering professional with a focus on network systems and satellite communication technologies. Currently serving as Principal Network System Engineer at TrellisWare Technologies since November 2020, Liu previously held the position of Principal System Engineer at L3 Technologies, where the design of satellite communication systems was a primary responsibility. At ViaSat, Liu contributed to the development of critical technologies for next-generation satellite broadband systems. Additionally, Liu has a strong background in media access control, highlighted by significant achievements while serving as Senior Staff MAC Protocol Engineer at Entropic Communications and as Senior Researcher at Intel. Liu obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
