Marcel van de Weerd

Marcel van de Weerd has been working in the tech industry since 2009. Marcel began their career as a Web Developer at Sjonic in 2009. In 2012, they moved to Grofas B.V. as a Software Engineer. In 2013, they took on a role as HU minor Business Solutions at AFAS Software. In 2015, they became Co-founder and CTO of Trengo, and also Co-founder of Sector8.

Marcel van de Weerd obtained their Media Technology degree from ICT Academie in 2011, focusing on Game Development. From 2011 to 2015, they attended HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) and studied Informatica (Software engineering) / Hogere opleiding Software engineer. Additionally, they have obtained a Prince2 Foundation certification.
