Ian Coventry

Ian Coventry has over 25 years of experience in finance and management roles. Ian is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Trevelyan's Pack & Cool Ltd since September 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Executive at Opotiki Packing & Coolstorage Ltd from August 2015 to May 2021, where they also held the position of Commercial Manager from April 2010 to August 2015. Before that, Ian worked as the Finance Manager at CHH Paperboard from July 2004 to July 2009 and as the Performance Improvement Manager at Fletcher Challenge Forests from September 2002 to June 2005. Ian began their career at Scion in November 1995, starting as a Management Accountant and progressing to become the Financial Controller. At Scion, Ian was responsible for the development and implementation of new financial management information systems, reporting processes, and business controls. Ian also oversaw annual reporting, external audits, and funding applications for research programs.

Ian Coventry attended the University of Waikato from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Management Studies degree. Their field of study was focused on accounting and finance.
