Lily Shum

Lily Shum, Lower School Coordinator, started at Trevor in 1994 as the floating substitute teacher. In her time here, she's worked as a classroom teacher in Nursery and Pre-Kindergarten, a Lower School Admissions Associate, and the Head Teacher of the Encore AfterSchool Program. Prior to teaching, Lily worked at The Children's Aid Society and was the manager of The New York City Young People's Chorus. An American-born Chinese, Lily was raised on the Lower East Side, mainly in Chinatown, and she enjoys reading, sticky rice, and singing. She loves working at Trevor because the students never cease to amaze her with their questions, even after all these years.
