Phil Tasker has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Phil started their career as a Level Designer at Silicon Ice Development/Frozen Sand in 1999, where they designed levels for the Quake 3 total conversion "Urban Terror." Phil then worked as an Environment Artist at Los Alamos National Laboratory from 2001 to 2003. In 2008, they joined Treyarch as a Level Designer and gradually moved up to Lead Level Designer from 2011 to 2016. Phil also served as a Design Consultant from 2017 to 2019 before becoming a Senior Principal Level Designer and later the Level Design Director at Treyarch in 2019.
From 2001 to 2006, Phil Tasker attended The University of New Mexico, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
