Yanick Lebel has a diverse and extensive work experience in the animation industry. Yanick has worked at various companies in different roles, showcasing their expertise and skills.

Yanick started their career at Lacewood Animation Studios in 1994 as a KeyFrame Posing artist. Yanick then moved on to Funbag Animation in 1995, where they continued their work as a KeyFrame Posing artist until 1996.

In 1996, Yanick joined Electronic Arts Canada as a Senior Animator. During their time there, they worked on multiple projects such as SSX, WCW Wrestling, and Triple Play series. Yanick was responsible for creating hand animated sequences and mocap cleanup. Yanick also contributed to 2D character concepts for the game SSX.

After leaving Electronic Arts Canada, Yanick joined Namco Hometek in 2000 as a Senior Animator. Here, they focused on creating high-quality hand animations for main characters, enemies, and bosses. Yanick also worked on creating Disarm Animations and animated NIS sequences. Yanick worked at Namco Hometek until 2004.

In 2004, Yanick joined Genuine Games as a Lead Animator. Yanick led a team of animators and worked on the game "50 Cent Bulletproof." Yanick was responsible for animating the core animations of the main character, including Counter Kills, as well as creating hand-animated Non Interactive Sequences. Yanick worked at Genuine Games until 2006.

Yanick then briefly worked at Nival Interactive in 2006 as an Animation Director.

Finally, Yanick joined Treyarch in 2006, where they have held various roles over the years. Yanick started as a Senior Animator and worked on games like Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Yanick then became an Animation Specialist, responsible for animating and designing key cinematic sequences for the project, specializing in action sequences and setting up animation pipelines. Yanick was later promoted to Lead Animator, where they played a crucial role in leading the animation team. Currently, Yanick holds the position of Associate Animation Director at Treyarch, where they provide motion capture performances, mostly self-directed and planned, and processes and delivers the data to the animation team.

Yanick Lebel's work experience demonstrates their extensive knowledge and experience in animation, particularly in hand animation, mocap cleanup, and creating key cinematic sequences for various games.

Yanick Lebel obtained a Bachelor's degree in Classical Animation from Sheridan College, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. In 2014, they attended UCLA Extension's Technical Management Program, taking courses in Technical Management.
