Jim Potter has extensive work experience in the financial services industry. Jim started their career at Rich Inc, where they worked as a Systems Consultant & Engineer and Project Manager. Jim then moved on to Reuters America, where they held various roles including Director of Product & Client Services Management and Senior System Consultant & Engineer, Group Leader, Manager, Open Systems.
After that, they joined Wombat Financial Software as a Director of Operations and Technology & US Client Services, where they contributed to the development of the Wombat Platform. Following this, they worked at NYSE Technologies as Director of US Regional Support, leading the adoption of Wombat Data Fabric and V5 Feed handlers.
Jim then joined The Roberts Group, where they held positions as a Project Manager and later as an Account Manager. Currently, they are working at TRG (The Roberts Group) as the Manager of Customer Success & Support, responsible for Account Management and Support Teams for various product lines.
Throughout their career, Jim has demonstrated their expertise in project management, client services, and system integration. Jim has successfully implemented organizational changes and led product launches to improve customer satisfaction and support delivery.
Jim Potter holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College, where they studied from 1982 to 1986. Jim then pursued a Minor in Communication Arts at the College of Mount Saint Vincent in the academic year 1985-1986. Jim went on to obtain a Master's degree in Computer Science from Pace University, where they completed their studies by 1994.
