Namrata Bhattacharya

Phd Research Scholar at Translational Research Institute

Namrata Bhattacharya has a strong background in academic research and teaching. Namrata is currently working as a PhD Research Scholar at the Translational Research Institute Australia, focusing on metastatic prostate cancer. Prior to this, they held the same position at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) and the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi. Namrata has also worked as a Teaching Assistant at QUT and held a role as a Lecturer at Asutosh College, University of Calcutta. Additionally, Namrata has experience as a Bioinformatics Engineer at the National Institute of Bio medical Genomics and as a Trainee at Bose Institute, where they gained expertise in NGS data analysis and circular RNA detection.

Namrata Bhattacharya has an extensive educational background in the fields of biomedical science, computer science, and engineering. Namrata is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical Science at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) and another PhD in Computer Science and Engineering at the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi. Namrata completed their Master of Technology (MTech) in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Calcutta from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned their M.Sc. in Computer and Information Science from the University of Calcutta from 2015 to 2017. Namrata also holds a B.Sc. (Honours) degree in Computer Science from Kolkata Jobs, which they completed from 2012 to 2015. In terms of additional certifications, Namrata Bhattacharya has obtained the WB-SET certification from the University Grants Commission (UGC) in July 2020. Namrata has also completed certifications in Docker Mastery with Kubernetes + Swarm from a Docker Captain and Machine learning, Data Science, and Deep learning with Python from Udemy in April 2020. Additionally, they possess a certification in Hadoop 101 from Cognitive Class, which was earned in September 2016.
