Andrew Fischer, MD FACEP DiDMM has a diverse work experience in the field of emergency medicine and research. Andrew served as a Base Hospital Medical Director and Emergency Medicine Physician at Tri-City Medical Center in 2018. Andrew also worked as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Kaiser Permanente starting in June 2018. Prior to this, they were an Emergency Medicine Resident at Kern Medical from 2014 to June 2018. Andrew gained experience as an EM/Pediatric EM Physician at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, Andrew has a background in research, as they worked as a Statistician and Senior Clinical Research Associate at the University of Massachusetts-Worcester from July 2013 to May 2014. Andrew began their career as a Research Assistant at Scripps Research from May 2008 to July 2009.

Andrew Fischer, MD FACEP DiDMM completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at UC Berkeley College of Engineering in 2007. Andrew then pursued their medical education at Thomas Jefferson University, obtaining a Doctor of Medicine degree in Medicine in 2013. In 2019, Dr. Fischer achieved certification in Emergency Medicine from the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Additionally, they have obtained several additional certifications, including a Diploma in Diving and Marine Medicine from the Wilderness Medical Society in 2022, a Diving Physician certification from the Divers Alert Network in 2021, a Diving Medical Physician - DMAC Level 2D certification from the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society in 2021, and a Fellowship from the American College of Emergency Physicians in 2021.
