Melissa Watts obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Accounting from Louisiana Tech University between 1992 and 1995. In July 1996, they obtained a Certified Public Accountant certification from the State Board of CPAs of Louisiana. In September 2014, they obtained a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer-Exercise and Fitness Specialist (CPT-EFS) certification from the American Council on Exercise (ACE Fitness).
