Barry Mohr

Mr. Mohr joined Tribal Capital Markets, LLC in March 2018 as a Senior Managing Director to engineer and build the firm’s Impact and Alternative Credit business, as well as expand the firm’s distribution capabilities.

Mr. Mohr has extensive experience in capital markets, syndicate, sales and trading, capital raising, and executive management that was accumulated during more than 20 years at prestigious securities and investment firms including Guggenheim Securities, Cohen & Company Securities, Keefe, Bruyette, & Woods (KBW), and Pierpoint Securities (currently Amherst-Pierpoint).

In 2014, Mr. Mohr Co-Founded and funded a technology startup, MallHawk, Inc., where he served as CEO. The app-based consumer marketplace introduced him to a new universe of investors and ideas – serving as a gateway to cleantech and renewable energy finance and investing. At Cohen, Mr. Mohr built and managed the firm’s fixed income trading and capital markets businesses. He successfully built a global structured - and esoteric credit franchise. During his tenure, the firm completed dozens of new-issue securitizations, developed a specialization in the trading and marketing of complex fixed income securities, and progressively increased revenue every year. Mr. Mohr developed his institutional trading acumen at KBW, where he gained a wealth of experience specializing in bank and financial credits. In addition, he pioneered the trading and marketing of Trust Preferred Securities (TruPS) – both single-named and securitized.

Mr. Mohr earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Finance from Seton Hall University.
