Franklin Sacks

Franklin Sacks joined TCM July 2016 where Mr. Sacks utilizes his firm relationships to partner with lead managers on GNMA multifamily deals.

Mr. Sacks began his career in 1986 at Salomon Brothers where he covered corporations from both the asset and liability sides. He then moved on to Smith Barney for 6 years in High Grade Sales with an emphasis on the CMO and derivative MBS sectors. Franklin covered banks, money managers and hedge funds.

Mr. Sacks continued in this vane at Prudential Securities for another 5 years, earning distinction and an ‘incentive’ bonus award for his production in 1994. He remained with ‘Pru’ for 5 years, contributing to their leadership in the burgeoning subprime abs market.

In 1999, Franklin entered the MBE space at Utendahl, where he remained for 9 years focusing on IG products including preferred as well as fixed income. He spent another 6 years at CastleOak Securities as they expanded their fixed income business.

Mr. Sacks earned a BA at Trinity College (CT) in Religion and received an MBA from the Columbia School of Business (NY).
