Barbara Smutek

Barbara Smutek has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Barbara worked at Tribal Tech, LLC since 2015, starting as a Project Manager and later transitioning to the role of Communication Manager in August 2020. Prior to that, Barbara worked at Michigan State University as an Extension Educator from 2012 to 2015. Barbara also had a long tenure at the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, where they held several positions including STAY Project Manager from 2008 to 2012, Recruiter from 2006 to 2008, and Youth Education Coordinator from 1999 to 2006.

Barbara Smutek's education history includes obtaining a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Administration from Central Michigan University, which was completed between 2007 and 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication from Lake Superior State University, starting in 2005 and finishing in 2007.
