Ali Satrap

Ali Satrap is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Chief Investment Officer at Palekana since February 2022, where the firm is set to launch several returns-focused funds in 2023. Ali has held the position of Partner at Tribeca Early Stage Partners since January 2019. Prior experience includes roles as an Equity Partner and Portfolio Manager at Rubicon Fund Management LLP from 2011 to October 2018, where efforts were directed toward expanding profitability and attracting new investments. Before that, Ali worked as a Portfolio Manager at London Diversified Fund Management LLP, managing a macro portfolio with peak AUM of $400 million. Earlier in the career, Ali served as Global Head of Trading at Commerzbank, directing trading activities in Europe, and held the position of Managing Director in Fixed Income & Rates Trading at Bankers Trust. Additional roles include VP of Long-dated & Exotic FX Options at Merrill Lynch and Research Analyst at Salomon Brothers. Ali holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed a program at the Stanford Centre for Health Education in 2021.
