Russell Winget has gained a range of work experience in various roles. In 2019, they served as the Philanthropy Committee Chairman for Theta Chi Fraternity at Ohio State, where they led a committee in raising funds for organizations like the United Service Organizations and the National Alliance on Mental Illnesses. In 2020, Russell worked as a Research Intern at IHS Markit | Energy, conducting research on the Turkish coal market, writing news reports, and organizing a spreadsheet database. More recently, in 2021, they worked as a Data Analyst and an Intern Data Analyst at Tribute Technology Holdings, LLC.

Russell Winget obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from The Ohio State University from the period of 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they successfully completed their high school education at Greenwich High School, earning their High School Diploma between 2012 and 2016.
