Chabilal Mongar

Chabilal Mongar currently serves as a Co-Opted Member on the EL003 committee for "Electric Wires and Cables" at Standards Australia since November 2023. Additionally, Mongar holds the position of Technical Services Manager and has previously served as a Senior Electrical Engineer and Electrical Engineer at TriCab Engineered Cable Systems since July 2020. Prior experience includes roles at the Electro-Mechanical Circle, where Mongar worked as a Dy. Executive Engineer (Electrical) from 2015 to 2018 and as an Engineer (Electrical) from 2010 to 2014, focusing on power distribution systems, tendering, and project management. Earlier in the career, Mongar was a Project Engineer (Electrical) at the Department of Hydropower & Power Systems, involved in coordinating major hydropower projects in Bhutan. Mongar holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical Power Engineering from Victoria University and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology.
