James L. has a strong background in risk management and data science. James is currently working at Tricolor Holdings as the Chief Risk and Data Science Officer, a position they have held since December 2020. Prior to this role, they served as the Chief Risk Officer at Tricolor Holdings from August 2018 to December 2020. James also worked as the VP of Risk Management at Tricolor Holdings from August 2017 to July 2018 and as the Director of Risk Management from May 2016 to July 2017.

Before joining Tricolor Holdings, James worked at Capital One as a Manager of Business Analysis from May 2014 to May 2016. Prior to that, they served as a Risk Manager at Think Finance/Elevate from August 2012 to May 2014. James started their career at JP Morgan Chase as a Risk Analyst from December 2009 to August 2012.

James L. holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from Florida State University. James also obtained an M.S. in Computational Math and Optimization from Stanford University. James completed their undergraduate education at Tsinghua University, where they earned a B.S. in Mathematics.
