Eric Woods

Eric Woods is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in architecting and implementing security solutions across various industries. Currently serving as a Cyber Security Architect at TriCore Reference Laboratories since May 2021, Eric previously held key positions, including Principal Infrastructure and Security Architect and Solutions Architect at PNM Resources, and Information Security Manager at the University of New Mexico. Eric has a strong background in developing technical architectures, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as PCI and HIPAA. With early career roles as Security Architect and Security Engineer at Presbyterian Healthcare Services and Laguna Development Corp., respectively, Eric has honed skills in firewall management, vulnerability scanning, and network security. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Information System Security and an Associate's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from ITT Technical Institute-Albuquerque.
