Simon Spencer

Simon Spencer has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Simon currently serves as the CTO at Trideca since 2022. Prior to this, they were a Climate Tech, Strategy & Advisory Board Member at Eratos starting from 2021. Simon also worked as the Host of Breaking Banks Asia at Breaking Banks Radio from 2017, where they led a popular radio show with a large global audience. In addition, they were a Mentor at Inspiring Rare Birds from 2017. Simon has also held positions at Suncorp Group as a Senior Principal - Data & AI Strategy, Big Little Data Co as a Director, and Edgelabs as a Director. Simon served as an Adjunct Professor - Entrepreneurship & Innovation at the University of Canberra and as a Board Member at IceCreamDay.Org. Simon's expertise includes data strategy and architecture, innovation strategy, and entrepreneurship. Simon has also been a CXO Advisory board member at Salesforce.

Simon Spencer completed their Bachelor of Education in Information Management at the University of Melbourne from 1985 to 1989. Simon then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Business Information Systems at RMIT University from 1990 to 1992, where they received the distinction. Prior to their higher education, Simon attended Eltham High School from 1978 to 1984. In 1994, they enrolled in the RMIT Graduate School of Management to pursue a Masters of Business degree, but the end year is not specified.
