Christopher Ayala

Christopher Ayala serves as the Managing Director of Investments at TRIDENT since December 2024 and is a Managing Partner at Shingle Hill Capital LLC, which specializes in acquiring family and founder-owned businesses in the lower middle market, a position held since February 2024. Ayala has an extensive board involvement across multiple companies, including Excel Interior Doors, Showcase Window & Door Co., LLC, Hayfield Window & Door Company, LLC, and Quantum Restaurants LLC, all from 2018 to 2024, contributing to each organization's strategic direction. Previously, Ayala was Managing Director at Drum Capital Management, focusing on lower middle-market investment opportunities, and also held key roles at Towanda Capital and LoyalTree Rewards. Ayala's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Trinity College-Hartford and a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law.
